COACHING REQUIREMENTS
Here are the minimum requirements for coaching youth football
Minimum Qualifications:-

Lead Coach - DBS - Level 1 or Introduction to Coaching Football - Safeguarding Children - Introduction to First Aid in Football
Assistant Coach - Playmaker - Safeguarding Children - Introduction to First Aid in Football

Ratios - Players to Coaches

4 to 8 Year Olds - 1 Coach per 6 Players
9 to 12 Year Olds - 1 Coach per 8 Players
13 to 18 Year Olds - 1 Coach per 10 Players

Regardless of the ratio you should always have at least 2 DBS checked adults at any training session or match.
Club rules also state that parents/carers should remain at training/matches (rather than drop and go) for U11s and below i.e. primary school aged children. It is not an issue for a parent/carer to bring more than one child due to availability, liftsharing etc but the coach needs to know which adult is responsible for each child in case of any incident.
